The urge ride

Where it is

On Today, under the dial, when your plan is one to stop something. Open it when a slip feels close.

How the ninety seconds work

A ring keeps time for ninety seconds while you breathe, then asks one question.

Afterwards: Did it pass?

Yes or no. If it didn’t pass, you can talk it through with the coach or leave it for tonight. Each answer is kept with the moment and the plan it belongs to, so the coach can bring it up later; the privacy policy says what is kept and for how long.

What urge surfing is

The ride is built on urge surfing, the idea that an urge behaves like a wave, building, peaking and falling away, and that you can stay with it instead of acting on it. The ride gives you ninety seconds and a ring to watch while you do.
