AI life coach
What is an AI life coach?
Software you talk a goal, a decision or a week through with, by voice or by typing. A good one asks more than it tells, remembers what you said, and holds you to what you picked. It isn't a therapist or a doctor, and it can't diagnose or treat anything. If you're struggling, Forvel shows you where to find people who can help.
What does Forvel's coach do?
It helps you pick one thing to do or stop this week, and holds you to it in your own words. You hold a ring each time you do it, and a week is kept when it reaches the target you set. A missed day doesn't count, and it never takes a rep away. Once you agree, the coach reads your last two weeks, so it already knows how they went.
Is there a free AI life coach?
Forvel's first week is free with no card, and two more weeks are free once you add one. After that it costs $19 a month or $190 a year. There is no free version after the free weeks: Forvel is paid for by the people who use it.
Does an AI life coach work?
No study has tested Forvel, and trials of AI coaching are few: the one that compared AI and human coaches head to head favoured the humans (de Haan, Terblanche and Nowack, 2026). What Forvel is built on has been tested: keeping a record of what you actually did changed behaviour across 138 randomised trials (Harkin et al., 2016), and deciding in advance what you will do when the moment comes has a real but small effect, d = .15 across 642 tests once publication bias is allowed for (Sheeran, Listrom and Gollwitzer, 2025). Every figure Forvel uses comes with its source, and where nobody knows, it says so.
Is it private?
Your voice never leaves Forvel's own server: it is turned into text there, and no recording is ever made. What you say or type is sent to Novita AI, a company in the United States that runs the model; their terms say they won't train on it or keep it past the reply, and no signed agreement backs that. The coach's notes, your commitments and the lines it may quote back are encrypted before they reach the database. Your messages, moods and the urges you log are not, and the one person who runs Forvel can read what you write. Forvel is run by a company in Prague.
Can I try it without signing up?
You can try the ring on the home page without an account. The coach needs one, because it keeps your plan and your words from one day to the next. Signing up takes an email address or a Google account, and you have to be 18 or over.
Is there an app?
Forvel runs in your browser, on your phone or your computer, and you can add it to your home screen. It isn't in the App Store or on Google Play yet.
Is it made for ADHD?
No. Forvel isn't designed or tested for ADHD, and it can't diagnose or treat it.
Are there reviews?
Not yet. Forvel is in testing with its first few people, and nothing on this site is a made-up review. When people write about their weeks, their words will be shared only with their permission.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general assistant you can ask to coach you. Forvel is built for one job: one thing a week, kept in your words, a ring to log it, and a coach that, once you agree, reads how your last two weeks went.
